DEMISE OF CHAIRMAN AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
The board of directors (the “Board”) of Creative Technology Ltd. (the “Company”) announces with great sadness that Mr. Sim Wong Hoo (“Mr. Sim”), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, passed away peacefully on 4 January 2023.
On behalf of all staff of the Company, the Board expresses its deepest sorrow over the death of Mr. Sim and conveys its condolences to his family. The Board also expresses its heartfelt gratitude for the immense contributions to the Company by Mr. Sim during his tenure as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
Mr. Sim founded the Company in 1981 and has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Office since inception. Mr. Sim has played an instrumental role in developing the business and has provided the Company with strong leadership and vision. Under his guidance, the Company became famous for the Sound Blaster sound cards and is a worldwide leader in digital entertainment products. The Company also launched the multimedia revolution that drives digital entertainment with cutting-edge audio solutions which include premium wireless speakers, wireless headphones, powerful audiophile-grade amplifiers and digital audio converters, and next-generation home-theatre systems.
Following Mr. Sim’s demise, the Board has, during this transition period, appointed Mr. Lee Kheng Nam, Lead Independent Non-Executive Director, as acting Chairman, and Mr. Ng Kai Wa, Independent Non-Executive Director, as acting Vice Chairman. The Board has also appointed Mr. Song Siow Hui, President of the Company’s Creative Labs Business Unit, interim Chief Executive Officer.
“I have known and worked with Mr. Sim for over 30 years. This is a sad and sudden development and we feel a great loss especially since Mr. Sim and I recently had extensive discussions on the future direction of the Company. During those discussions, Mr. Sim was full of fresh vision. Even on the night before, he had a long discussion with the Engineering team and was scheduled to meet with the Online Sales team the next day. The best thing to do now is to ensure the continued smooth running of the Company, and also to execute and realise the vision and strategy that Mr. Sim had for the Company,” said interim Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Song Siow Hui.
Additional information on Mr. Sim’s cessation as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company as required under the Listing Manual of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited will be set out in a separate announcement.

还好吧，声卡什么的，当时接触的也不少 我还买了他们声卡，67不算年纪大啊...............R.I.P 正在用创新声卡和创新音箱，看到这个消息感觉不是滋味。R.I.P RIP

主要是需求少，高端玩家就直接买台机了。普通玩家用集成声卡也不是不能用。中间这部分玩家就很少了。
而且这牌子说低端吧人家也有自己的技术积累，说高端吧也不是太高端，夹在中间。不是还是个务实的公司，不像很多国产音频厂商动不动就堆料出一堆昂贵的器材，但其实只是为了把价格推高。
创新这牌子闭着眼想他的高端耳机和音箱真不是特别能想到哪个系列，不像森海拜亚艾利和那种的。甚至国产的飞傲山灵乐图乐彼hifiman都有高端产品可以想到。 大头弥勒 发表于 2023-1-7 08:10

虽然现在大家看了都懂，但创新的SB 卡在互联网上这几个字还没畸形的时候就开始用了，那时候谁知道后来会发展成现在这种情况，就和翔这个字一样，当年可没少用这个字取名的 htrstc 发表于 2023-1-7 02:43

创新对比国内的那些漫步者什么的要好的多，配套的驱动和软件一直都在定期更新。
产品质量也比较不错的。
只是了解这个新加坡品牌的基本都是80后，90 00 基本都没怎么关注过。 最后一块创新声卡是THD 还用过他家的 GOLD的 但是2000年1000多大洋呢！ 95年的sb16 isa开始用的，后来到live、x-fi等等
但是从vista开始eax被巨硬背刺之后就已经不行了 当年的传奇人物之一了 ISA的sound blaster，这是多少老玩家心中的白月光啊。
