April 8 (Reuters) - Global shipments of personal computers returned to growth in the first quarter after two years of decline, according to preliminary results from market research firm International Data Corporation (IDC) released on Monday.
The PC market grew 1.5% from a year earlier, with 59.8 million shipments in the first quarter, and returned to pre-pandemic levels with the onset of a refresh cycle for PCs that were purchased during the pandemic, the report

而且IDC专门强调，只有中国没有增长，其他主要地区都在增长。
"Despite China's struggles, the recovery is expected to continue in 2024 as newer AI PCs hit shelves later this year and as commercial buyers begin refreshing the PCs that were purchased during the pandemic," explained Jitesh Ubrani, a research manager for IDC's Worldwide Mobile Device Trackers. "Along with growth in shipments, AI PCs are also expected to carry higher price tags, providing further opportunity for PC and component makers."

细分到游戏PC领域，IDC都看好24年游戏PC市场，尤其是游戏显示器市场的强势上升：
"Gaming monitor volume witnessed a remarkable recovery following a decline in 2022," said Jay Chou, research manager for IDC's Worldwide Client Devices Trackers. "At approximately $300, gaming monitors are an essential and cost-effective part of the PC gaming experience. Declining prices and continued innovations have led to widespread adoption of specs like refresh rates exceeding 165 Hz, response times of 1ms or less, and an increasing shift towards higher resolutions (1440P or greater). Given these improvements, gaming monitors are expected to continue outpacing the growth of gaming PCs."
可以看到IDC预测的24-28年YoY增长率，低端减少高端上升。25年作为GPU更新年IDC直接给了PC接近7%的年增长，给了主流GPU接近8%的增长，高端GPU 5%的增长。
